ARTICLE I – SCOPE & APPLICABILITY
1.1 These laws apply to all users, all sections, and all country forums on Defence.gg.
1.2 Use of the forum constitutes acceptance of these laws.
1.3 Ignorance, intent, or popularity does not exempt a user from enforcement.
ARTICLE II – ACCURACY & TRUTHFULNESS
2.1 Statements presented as fact must be supported by available evidence or reliable reporting at the time of posting.
2.2 Claims lacking direct sources or full verification must be clearly labeled as Opinion, Analysis, or Hypothesis.
2.3 Repeated dissemination of misleading or false information may result in enforcement action.
ARTICLE III – RESTRICTED & SENSITIVE INFORMATION
3.1 Posting classified, leaked, or restricted material is strictly prohibited.
3.2 Requests for such material are equally prohibited.
3.3 Real-time operational speculation involving active conflicts is disallowed.
3.4 When in doubt, do not post.
ARTICLE IV – CONDUCT & RESPECT
4.1 Criticism and discussion of governments, policies, military decisions, equipment, and historical actions is permitted.
4.2 Discussion involving countries, institutions, or populations is allowed; personal attacks, dehumanization or slurs are not.
4.3 Calls for violence, hate speech, or incitement result in immediate enforcement.
ARTICLE V – TOPIC INTEGRITY
5.1 Content must be posted in the appropriate category.
5.2 Moderators may move or remove misplaced content without notice.
5.3 Repeated misposting may result in posting restrictions.
ARTICLE VI – PROPAGANDA & MANIPULATION
6.1 Coordinated propaganda, agenda-pushing, or narrative flooding is prohibited.
6.2 Repetitive posting of identical viewpoints across multiple threads is classified as spam.
6.3 Nationalistic slogans without analytical substance may be restricted.
ARTICLE VII – DISCUSSION STANDARDS
7.1 Debate must address ideas, not individuals.
7.2 Personal attacks, harassment, baiting, or trolling are prohibited.
7.3 Disagreement must be expressed with reasoning and evidence.
ARTICLE VIII – MODERATION AUTHORITY
8.1 Moderators act to preserve discussion quality and forum integrity.
8.2 Enforcement actions may include warnings, content removal, temporary or permanent bans.
8.3 Appeals must be respectful, factual, and submitted through proper channels.
8.4 Final decisions rest with the moderation team.
ARTICLE IX – COMMUNITY
9.1 Feedback and suggestions belong in the Community section.
9.2 Public disputes regarding moderation outside designated areas are prohibited.
ARTICLE X – CLOSING PROVISION
10.1 Defence.gg exists for analysis, learning, and informed discussion.
10.2 Content intended to provoke outrage, spread misinformation, or inflame divisions will not be tolerated.
10.3 These laws may be amended as the forum evolves.
